Seth Lee Jones is a 2007 Graduate of the Guitar Craft Academy course at Musicians Institute, Seth gaduated at top of the class and received the award for Outstanding Student.
Seth apprenticed under John Carruthers at Carruthers Guitar for four years, in addition to stints with Ron Thorne, Fren Asken and clients like Emblem Studios. A full client list available upon request detailing the guitar repair, restoration and fabrication work done at various studios.
Seth is currently working from his home workshop and accepting projects and repairs of all kinds. He relocated to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 2011 but continues to work out of Los Angeles, Dallas, and other major cities during his travels. Work is welcome from anywhere, any time.
Seth Lee Jones is a player who builds and repairs with the player in mind. His attention to detail and immaculate craftsmanship are rare and reveal a natural talent for creating and repairing instruments to bring out the best sound possible while maintaining high aesthetic quality. He spends hours scouring lumber yards for the best sounding, highest quality woods to build with, and spares no expense to insure all of his work is the best possible.
